2 British national charged to court for visa forgery by NIS


So, while our people are hustling to go to UK, some of them are hustling to stay back in Naija. Oh yea! Two british nationals were charged to court for forging their visa....i dont know about you but i laughed when i saw this! There must be gold on the streets of Nigeria for them.

Two British nationals, Ian Cunliff and Ofir More, were on Wednesday arraigned before a Federal High Court in lagos on charges of visa fraud.
The two arrested suspects were said to have conspired to forge expatriate quota approval with reference number MIA/B/3939/1/41 on September 28, 2011. According to the prosecution, the duo allegedly forged the signature of the Director, Citizenship and Business of the Ministry of Interior, Adetayo Sode, whose signature appeared on the counterfeit expatriate quota approval.
The 16-count criminal charge, FHC/L/54c/12, which was brought before Justice Binta Murtala-Nyarko at the Federal High Court in Lagos by D.I Babale, a Nigerian Immigration Services legal officer, also added three companies as co-defendants in the case.
The three companies are C25 Nigeria limited, WTC International Holdings Nigeria Limited and WTC UK Limited.
Murtala-Nyarko, however, adjoiurned hearing on the case to the 24th of May, 2012.
