About 30 people were confirmed dead yesterday after a bomb exploded at New Road Motor Park, Sabon Gari in Kano. Many other victims were injured and lots of property destroyed.
The bus was said to be leaving Kano for Lagos and had mostly Igbos on board. Other sources claim the death toll could go as high as 60 as many bodies were seen being taken to the mortuary.
